Risk Legacy has finally arrived. This creative revision of the strategy classic allows you the player to customize your game and create a unique gaming experience. Risk Legacy has been well received by the gaming community with many favouring it over the original version of the game.
Dominion Hinterlands is also new to our catalogue, expand your Dominion game play with this new expansion pack for one of our most popular games.
Update: Unfortunately we can't make it to Battlecry this weekend (bugger!), but we are sending along a special discount code offer so make sure you grab a pamphlet with the code on!
Cathedral is back!

It's back in time for Christmas... Cathedral is one of my all time favourite games and it's 100 percent a New Zealand game!
Beautifully presented in a wooden box and crafted from wood, the game itself has a cork footing which means it won't scratch your coffee table which is of course where Cathedral looks best.
We have a limited supply so get in quick and get your copy of Cathedral ready for Christmas.

Did you know that you can browse our game collection by the Age of the Player the game is intended for?
Or that you can browse the site by the Number of Players the game is intended for?
The quick link to both these sections is available in the horizontal navigation bar below the site's logo.
These facilities are great when looking for games for either families or hobby groups as you can purchase games according to the age of the players and number of players involved in your gaming group!
By the way if you like historically accurate war games check out A Few Acres of Snow it's new in and really grabs our interest!
Now You Can Browse by Publisher

We have just released our new browse by publisher feature.
Just click on the "Publishers" link in the horizontal navigation bar above and you will be taken to a page which shows all the game publishers whose games are represented on the site. Then by clicking on their icon you can view the catalog of their games which we are currently selling.
At present games are only listed under one publisher, so if a game is or has been published by several publishers it will be listed on our site under the publisher our copies originate from.
Many of you have been asking for this new feature for a while... so enjoy!

An Awesome Slew of New Products

We have had slew of new products arrive in the last few days and we're pretty excited about them.
For example the AddictABall 3D puzzle, which is like a marble maze inside a ball! It is is keeping our kids entertained for ages ... yes and me too! I haven't quite managed all 138 stages yet though.
For those who like epic board games check out Gears of War The Board Game and Rune Age two new games for master game smith Corey Konieczka (whose name I always struggle to spell).
The new Dixit Odyssey looks fantastic and can be played with or without the original Dixit and the Dixit 2 Expansion. Gubs is the new card game for not so young children and The Impossible Machine is perfect for all the family including children as young as 6.

View Games By the Age of Players

One of the newest features of the site is the Age of Players page which allows you to select the age category the intended audience of your game is in and view board games suitable for that age group.
The Age of Players page is organized by Manufacturers Recommended Ages and is well worth visiting especially when buying gifts for children.

If you are new to board games or looking for a way to spice up your board gaming check out the Board Game Series page.
This page lists board games which either have expansions or are part of a series of games with a similar theme. These are great for people who like to follow a story line right through, a bit like reading a series of novels.
Popular series favourites are: BattleStar Galactica, Small World and of course the ever popular The Settlers of Catan.
Board Game Restocks

We have restocks of Egizia and Double 9 Dominoes, these two popular board games are joined by the ever popular Dominion and Citadels. These two empire building card games have a similar theme and both are a recommended addition to a board gamer's library. The beauty of Dominion is in its extensions which are just about all fantastic. Citadels includes its only expansion with it and doesn't contain as many card as Dominion, but it is a very atmospheric card game, cheaper and expandable to more players.
